My dual focus self-challenge is suspended for one day to post the last of the bloom of my Feb. 1st image. The original is below.

Do I intend symbolism on Valentine’s Day? I didn’t think so, but upon reflection I believe that love takes many forms and changes with time and experience. This version is just as beautiful as it was in full bloom.

And I say to all of you, my friends out there in cyberspace, I have grown in my love and affection for you. Happy Valentine’s Day!

This shot was hand held in natural light (overhead skylight) using my trusty plasma tv screen as background!

I really really really like this one Robin.... the amaryllis looks so interesting all curled up like this. That blue is almost chromakey like isn't it.

Good trick with the background. I've been meaning to use my computer monitor but it's a bit small and i keep forgetting anyway. Anywho...good shot, and Happy Valentine's Day!
