November 26: Holiday On Ice

Colorado Springs, CO

Post Thanksgiving activities here included ice skating on the Colorado College rink. That’s brother-in-law David on the left and sister Judy on the right. My niece, “Spoon Girl” Cordelia can be seen gliding by in the background.

Robin, yes, did you skate. I have never tried ice skating. Maybe someday. But, I use to roller skate as a kid and loved it. Spent may happy hours at the rink or on the sidewalk. Great family pics.--Rene

Good shots Robin. Looks like the rink was well lit--the ice I've seen is usually really dark. Where ARE your skates ????

Robin, I noticed today that you weren't on crutches...which means you didn't skate. Good of you to take pics of everyone else bustin' their arse while you stayed warm and safe on the sidelines, LOL. I love you and had a wonderful time today!

The youngsters take to this kind of thing pretty easily. You would think we would more comfortable with experience (age). On the ice I would take the posture of your brother-in-law. But Robin, where are the blades on your skates?
