October 3: Baseball under the sun

Petco Park

As mentioned in yesterday’s PaD, watching the Padres beat the Dodgers during a sunny afternoon was delightful relaxation. The bottom row is a series of a Padre scoring after the Dodger error shown in the top row on the upper right

And below is enjoying baseball in the sun.

I clicked on the thumbnails, expecting when I got close up that all the players would be...YOU, ROBIN!! What a disappointment that there's not a surprise lurking within the pixels...

WEll, too bad the Cardinals don't play like the Dodgers. Sigh.... But good shots, Robin!

18 is my favorite frame.
How could you get seats... the scalpers here were asking upwards of $300 for a $20 bleacher seat on Sunday I heard. Just gotta love October sports!

@snootydog... these are my shots from yesterday ... just wanted to have a way show them all and I didn't think any of them were that great to merit a full size exposure.
And yes the Dodgers abandoned NY area .. and some people have never forgiven them. In a sense though, the Mets are a poor second choice. My Mother worshiped the Yankees, but I loved her anyway. ;-)

Okay, now that I am done amusing myself with that last comment...

Are these your photos or just your processing? Eithger way, I like what you have done. I am partial to the dodgers however because my mother cut her baseball teeth on them and thus raised me an ardent met fan because her beloveds had left for your coast several years earlier.
