September 25: Sunshine for the Bartons

Escondido, CA

When I saw this Harley with the bright sun reflecting off the chrome I thought of Danny Barton and Sister Diann, Padders both. (Danny has two of these beauties.)

Their family was in the thick of it down on the Gulf Coast, but now after talking with Danny this morning I am relieved to learn that they weathered the storm.

Sitting here in the California sunshine it is difficult to fully appreciate the danger to life, limb, property, and fortune for all the folks on the Gulf Coast.

Excellent composition on this, Buddy. I really appreciated your call Sunday morning. Got a broken call into Mom on my way to pick up Miss Rachel yesterday afternoon. They are back in Houston but that's when the call broke and I couldn't get back through. Still don't know what property damage has been suffered, if any.

Robin I share thoughts about folks on the Gulf coast. I think you did a great job on this bike... love the composition and the glistening chrome adds a touch of excitement. Nicely done... I assume you converted to B&W afterward.
