September 1: Fielder on the Roof!

Rancho Bernardo, CA

The entire trip is over, and it is now just memories and photographs. Diann surprised me with the gift of this wonderful book by John Fielder (one of my favorite photographers).

Thank you so much Di. Your generosity, friendship, and love will remain with me forever.

I've heard that John Fielder is good. I guess that I need to get one of his books some day.

Wow... it looks like you all had such a special connection. Isn't it amazing what a little website conceived of by a guy named 'slug' can spark.

Very nice-you guys really seemed to have clicked, and have taken away great memories and new friendships.

Wow, what a great memento of your road-trip. So jealous of your PADfest-US style!

That's a terrible pun! Even so LOL.

Glad you made it home safely! Now you`ll have plenty of time
to look through the book by Fielder!

I'm truly honored, Robin. I know these "pad fests" take place frequently but I'll venture to say that few produce the kind of friendships the three of us came away with. You'll never, ever, know how much you helped me, encouraged me, empowered me to deal with the things I had (and still have) to. Suffice it to say...I LOVE YOU! You have become part of my family and you know my door is always open to you!

So glad you like the book...I've always loved Fielder's work and couldn't think of a more perfect gift to commemorate our adventure. Take care, my friend, and I'll see you in just over 9 weeks...yes, I'm counting already.

Sunrise, sunset, quickly flow the pics! One season another, laden with (okay I'll stop, you got me going). I like the lighting in this one, I have a terrible time with harsh daylight.

Great for you! Glad you made it back home safe and sound. We'll have to work hard to make sure the November thing goes off.

Miss Rachel and I very much enjoyed getting to meet and party with you, Robin. I haven't talked to Di in a couple of days. I think we are still planning a visit to CA in Nov. Will keep you posted.
