July 13: Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade

The Rodeo is a big annual summer event here. The parade this morning was fun to watch and to shoot. I am always a sucker for photos of beautiful women, so I picked this lovely rider to be my PaD. You may have wished that I had chosen a different ones. The others are at **this small gallery.**

It could only be in America. Lovely shot. I'd love to find a rodeo in the UK - but it's not very likely. If it wasn't closed down by the Health & Safety people, then the animal welfare lobby would just prosecute the participants! I'll just have to wait to see the real thing in US/Canada.
