May 31: Perfect Conditions

Del Mar, CA


After my completing my physical (compressed disk between 4th and 5th lumbar regions) I had a PoJo burger at the Poseidon in Del Mar. Now that the holiday weekend of what we call “May Grey” is over people went back to work or school. Of course the clouds lifted today revealing this perfect scene of Del Mar Beach.

OH MY GOODNESS! THESE ARE MY KIDS IN YOUR PAD! Marg, our daughter, is the girl running in with the blue boogie board and our son, Ricker, is holding the red boogie board. We about fell over when we saw this shot. We just spent 5 days in Del Mar going to the Spirit West Christian music festival at the Del Mar fairgrounds and lounging on the beach. We stayed at the Del Mar Motel right next to the Poseidon and ate dinner there last night. I cannot believe you caught this! WOW! I hope your time in Del Mar was a nice as ours, Robin.

While both are fitting candidates, I agree with Herb. I like the writing on the chalkboard and the expression on the man's face. Looks like a great day there!
