The Valley

Ramona, CA

Today I drove east about 15 miles to the “back country” town of Ramona which is situated at 1500 feet in a valley shadowed by 2901 foot high Mount Woodson. The trip gave me chance to have a breakfast at the Kountry Kitchen and to take a few shots.

Beautiful area, up there by Ramona. I used to ride my motorcycle through there to ride up to Julian. You gotta check out Julian. It's pretty amazing for photography. -Andrew www.blindside-photo.com

That's a nice drive, I like to take the whole loop on occasion: Ortega Highway to Temecula, down through Vista and Ramona and up the 5 back home. Beautiful country out that way.
