April 25: My Fortune

San Diego, CA

Tom and Maggie Crane took me out to dinner at the Fortune Cookie last night. We all got a fortune that we thought fit each of us well.

When I got outside I dropped mine, but my gull brought it back to me.

That's right, Robin. That fortune, I think, describes you to a tee. I too, love your postings. My family always knows when I'm looking at your images because I bust out laughing. Then they come in to see what I'm laughing at. Keep 'em comin'!

You are too cool, what else can I say.
Your posts make my day.
Thanks for being you.

Damn, I wish I had thought of that! You're so damn good, it kills me. Well, we're just so happy for your personality, ain't we? Very nicely done.

I didn't know gulls retrieved like the infamous labrador-pigeon, Robin, but you are fortune-ate to have ate the cookie before (s)he ate the fortune. (Huh?)

Ancient New Yawk proverb say: May the seagull of happiness poop on your good fortune. This must be a baby gull -- I don't think I've ever seen one this small.

It's only too bad those were yesterday's winning lottery numbers...

absolutly fantastic photo my friend, lovely done!
P.S. that was indeed a soccer stadium, made for the last European Cup of 2004! Regards.

Perhaps (blush) I do something to bring these puns to roost here?

Wait a minute, I thought you said you went to dinner with the Cranes? This is a seagull, not a crane.
Gary Winters25-Apr-2005 17:06
What were you doing -- standing on the corner, watching all the gulls, watching all the gulls, watching all the gulls go by?

May you always have good fortune, and plenty of gulls too! :-)

Most appropriate fortune. Your seagull is quite talented.
Cliff25-Apr-2005 16:50
A bird of happiness for sure and a very appropriate 'fortune' for you Robin. Cheers!
