April 14: Cross Street

Rancho Bernardo, CA

Before you quickly dismiss this image and click away in bitter disappointment, please know three things:

1) It is a stitched image … note the convertible crossing the street,
2) This is the main intersection in Rancho Bernardo … I told you we are a sleepy little town,
3) This demonstrates one of San Diego’s dirty little secrets … this time of the year we frequently have coastal eddies that persist throughout the morning. You call it fog, we call them late night and early morning low clouds.

Bad weather in San Diego! I thought that NEVER happened.
Well done.

Low cloud! Nicely done though.

Oh, you poor thing! Those clouds can be soooo hard to shovel. LOL
Excellent ps editing.

Nice job stitching Robin. I thought the cars were undercover agents (you never know these days) :)

Great stitching, Robin. I didn't realize it was foggy there. I think of your area as warm and dry.

Great stitch job!

Gosh, and I was about to dismiss this image. Thank goodness you talked me out of it! Have you seen Laine's PaD today? You two should get together -- shooting from cars!

Well at least your small town has traffic lights. I love low morning cloud, mist, fog or anything else related.

That must be the number one selling car in Rancho Bernardo.
Nice stitch job.

I like this stitching idea you have perfected.

Knowing there is always more to them than first appears, we would never dismiss your images so casually! Wonderful series with the parrot, the running dog and now the smog-creating pollution machine!! :o)

Neat. When I first looked at it I thought "there are a lot of the same convertibles there-must be an exhibit preparation of some kind."
