April 12: Historic Sights

Lake Henshaw, CA

My team building meeting was held at the historic Warner Ranch which was a stop on the old Butterfield Mail Stage Route and was the 1846 jumping off point for Kearney’s ill–fated battle with the Americano “insurgents led by Don Andres Pico at the Battle of San Pasqual. The setting is peaceful, sun-filled and remote from the demands of civilization.

This is a view of Lake Henshaw located a just few miles away nestled at 2700 feet in a valley of the San Jacinto mountains only 35 miles North of San Diego.

We had a great day.
