OMG I experienced one of these (well 3 actually) in Tennant Creek, Australia..on the wall of the motel, in the bed !!!!! and behind the shower curtain... I screamed and screamed !! so glad New Zealand doesnt have the creepy things Australia does!! this is a MONSTER...

I guess my husband will be going alone, for cockroaches are MY bane.. my "snakes or spider" fear.. I"m terrifed of them. OY!
