Enroute to Rotorua. Both of our major site visits today were "in the dark." We saw two quite active Kiwis, but they are nocturnal and were under very limited light. Then we visited the famous glow worms in the cave at Waitomo. Same problem.
Thus you are getting a scenic view shot taken from the bus!. The rolling hills and blue skies made for a very pleasant drive to Rotorua. Tomorrow the hot springs/geysers and a more in depth look at the Maori culture.
