July 6: Taking Stock

Rancho Bernardo, CA

Actually I’m packing this equipment up (you’ll find out more about that tomorrow), and I used Photoshop to get a side and top view. But I was stunned when I developed the film and saw a strange bug on the far wall!

Pentax Optio 550
f/3.2 @ 1/60th w/flash. 10.9 mm full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

That's a Photoshop bug on the wall. All software has bugs.

You left the 70-200 in the bag? That's the lens to show off. I bet some of these hardly get any use.

Everyone.. see the next day PAD to see what I'm doing with all this equipment.

Hey you all... I've learned that lots of lenses doesn't necessarily mean better pictures! There is something about the photogrpaher and her talent...something I often lack.

Oh, to have more lenses, someday soon I hope. You have quite an impressive collection there, if you need anyone to babysit them, just give me a call, not a prob!

D@mn robin... If you aren't packing all those lenses up to send them to me then I'm not really sure I want to hear the story. Unless of course you are sending them to Russ. I suppose I could tolerate that. But really I would rather you send them to me.

OMG, Robin, you didn't tell me I had to buy all these lenses! My wife's really going to kill me!! Ok, ok, I'll just start with the 28-135....and the straight 50...and maybe a 100mm macro...

Yikes! You've created a monster!

Btw - nice chatting Robin, a real pleasure to meet you tonight!

When I grow up I want to have that much equipment too! I can't wait to find out what the purpose is. Nice PhotoShopping. Strange bug.
Herb 07-Jul-2004 01:37
Did you find the bug in your favorite camera store in Escondido?;-)))
dukeofdust07-Jul-2004 00:50
My bet is that someone is upgrading!!!...To a newer Canon???...Yep...I bet there is going to be a New Canon Body...But why the lens's...hmmmm..Maybe a Nikon????!!!

Looks like a 100-400 to me... the contents of the bag, not the bug.
Guest 07-Jul-2004 00:46
Are you really selling your stock? Does the white bag fit all the equipments? Is that bug real? Ooops too many questions..... LOL I will check back tomorrow.
Anne Young06-Jul-2004 23:59
Funny thing is, I didn't even notice the bug until I read your caption! I was too busy looking at all the equipment. LOL. Robin, you better NOT be selling all your camera gear!!
Karen Leaf06-Jul-2004 23:58
Hmmm, I think I'd take the big white bag, and its' contents. If you are looking for a macro for the bugs, maybe a wide angle would do better for this creature.

You are selling the kit for a Nikon?? AWESOME!! XXX
Gary Blanchette06-Jul-2004 23:44
So tomorrow is the day you let everyone know you are sending me your equipment? (hehehe) Nice stuff BTW... :-)
