Tom is a good colleague and friend since 1980. His son Adam was born the same day as the San Francisco area Loma Prieta earthquake, (6.9) which shook up the World Series on Oct. 17, 1989. A memorable date to be born. Adam is now a writer and a musician while his Dad is a Professor of Sociology at SDSU.

I had a great Christmas dinner/evening with them and with Les Packard, Tom's wife and Adam's Mom.
