My life has been heavily influenced by three men, my Father, Stuart Good (shown), and John Jones of University Associates fame.

Stuart was the Dean of Students at Cornell College who hired me as a young assistant dean in 1965 to be the director of student activities. He modeled his role well and taught me many things.

Above all beyond being colleagues we became good friends, and one of the main reasons for my trip to the NW last week was to visit him and pay homage to his love and wisdom.
