Lynn and Don Davis, who have been building their home atop Rainbow Ridge, inaugurated it today with Christmas dinner for their family and some friends. I had a wonderful time.

What was instructive to me, photography-wise, was that including the dogs in the shot really helped everyone to relax. This was the third shot. I think after the flash fires a couple of times people relax a bit more.

I then had one of them take my picture on the end, and then I was able to Photoshop myself in with the rest of the crowd.

Now work on the other 125 shots I haven’t processed. ;-)
