January Flood

We got 2-3" of rain last night. Probably most of it around 2am. It was so loud it woke me up. Schools were closed today because several roads were closed this morning due to high water. I shot just a few pics. The water had gone down quite a bit before I ventured out.
Jordan Creek Ball Park. I estimate these fields were under about 2 feet of running water.

The creek is just past the end of this drive, behind the concession stand at the end.

The large timbers propped up on the fence floated from the driveway for those homes in the distance.

It takes a lot of rain to get it flowing this hard. I can't imagine how it looked at its peak early this morning.
