Inside Taj: was before they stopped allowing photos inside.
It's a new world in India now, everywhere, etc. etc. :(
I wish everyone could see that magnificent place.
When you actually see it, it seems like a dream.
Thanks for your comments. :)
Steady: you must mean the non-flash photos:
held my breath and brace against some solid object (if available).
Other galleries:
Use the optical viewfinder instead of LCD on back of camera
(can brace camera against your forehead).
(Naturally didn't apply to 35mm film photography,
must use viewfinder for that, bracing comes with the show.)
For digital shots I reshoot if image looks bad.
Hate doing that, but that's life with a point-and-shoot digital camera.
Out of the question for candids of course.
I don't use a tripod, way too impatient.
I would, if I were shooting landscapes; landscapes
don't move (plenty of time to set up a tripod).
btw, I really like your photo of the leaf marble on the outside of the Taj.
Nicely conveys exactly how it appears. Amazing thing is that the
whole building is finished this way, even in places where you can't see it.

how did you manage to take photos inside the taj? (and so steady too!)
The guards wouldn't allow me when I was there
