it was fascinating to watch - the male (smaller), on approaching, sort of
strummed the web and got it going with a rhythm like a jump-rope (but not exactly).
He even beat out another suitor, who was at the ready in case this fellow didn't "make" it.

I didn't stay to watch the whole encounter - it took nearly an hour just to get to this point
(patient creatures - talk about a long foreplay)! It also seemed strangely voyeuristic, and
I didn't relish the thought of witnessing the probable conclusion. :(
