Mourning cloak with eye-hair (left eye).

This was a personal discovery.
I'm not a expert but looking at a few other species indicates that
this does not appear to be the norm, at the present time.
Three species, so far, have been observed with this characteristic.
The Painted Lady; the Question Mark; and the Mourning Cloak.
It is very difficult getting a cooperative butterfly to allow such close
investigation thru macro photography.
