Butterfly egg developing

A single butterfly egg with a caterpillar developing inside.
Maybe either a Chocolate Pansy or an Indian Leaf butterfly.
The eggs in the background are Malachite butterfly eggs.

Dear Lindy,
Yes, and thank you for asking. However, unless you need this specific species of butterfly egg, I would suggest you brouse myhttp://www.pbase.com/10kzoomfz/mw_btfy_bluemorpho where I feel there are a number of better images of egg development. Or maybe one from my Monarch photo series here, http://www.pbase.com/10kzoomfz/wild_monarch_07proj_eggeclose

Hello Sir. This is a beautiful shot of a butterfly egg. May I ask permission to copy it for a science project that my daughter is doing? This is the only stage of a butterfly's development that we don't have a good picture of and we will be most appreciative if you would permits it's use.

Thank you sir

Lindy
