Hi Rathika,
Let me start by saying, I came to the workshop just because it was "Rathika's workshop" :)
Day 1 :
1. Slideshow - This started the session on a positive note as we had a chance to look at your pictures in their original sizes as opposed to viewing the Web versions. This got our curiosity into knowing how you do it!

2. Presentation based Theory -
This session covered the basics of photography which would have catered to the wide experience range and skills of the audience as there was a generous mix of experienced and novice amateurs like us.

Though i was aware of these concepts, it was good to learn it from the guru of wild life photography :)
I would give full marks to the Exposure theory, because, I was not fully competent in getting perfect exposures every time. I always had a hit or miss approach!
Day 1 ended very positively, and all 3 of us were fed with so much knowledge that we were super excited about the field trip on Day 2 .
Day2 :
The field trip gave us a chance to put into practice all that we learned on day 1.
The attention you gave to everyone that was there and helped them understand how to use the various settings on their cameras was commendable.

The review session towards the later part of the day was the best part of this workshop as it helped me understand what my areas of improvement are.
So long I was more into "photoshopping" than photography :) ... Your session on "Composition" helped me a lot in understanding the significance of "in-camera cropping". Overall the session was very useful for me personally and it would definitely help me in taking better pictures !
Best Regards
David

Dear Rathika,
It was a pleasure meeting you. Needless to say my learning curve has jumped up a quite a few notches! Loved it all the way...and as you said many times over, for you its all about sharing the knowledge. It was thoughtful of you to add those personal observations and experiences, that made for a more engaging experience.

Rathika,
This is my 3rd workshop on photography organized by Pixetra. It was indeed a great opportunity to understand and learn new techniques in wildlife photography. Especially, setting correct exposure and setting minus/plus compensation for dark/light subjects.
I was blown away by the amount of effort you put into the workshop.
The group was fantastic and it was indeed a couple of days well spent.
Cheers

The 2-day workshop on Wildlife Photography was an unparalleled learning experience. The congenial way you came forward sharing your experiences was both educative and enjoyable for aspiring wildlife photographers like us. Your objective way of analyzing our photographs and the feedback did give us a number of meticulous new insights. I look forward to the next opportunity to engage in a photography session with you.~~Best Vidhya Narayanan
