Hackescher Höfe is the remains of the old jewish quarter of Berlin. Needless to say it
was brutally emptied during WWII. It is now a fantastic secluded shopping/art quarter with
galleries,restaurants and artisan shops inside the courtyards of the old quarter.
Well worth a visit....
