From an exhibit of the fiddles,pictures and text about father and son fiddlemakers Isak and Trond Flatebø in Fyksesund near Norheimsund in Hardanger. The Hardanger fiddle is special in that it has four strings underneath the regular strings. The underlying strings resonate freely together with the upper strings and creates a rather haunting and very special sound.
