| Larry and I have been friends since high school. He and his wife Sharon visited us while we were anchored off of the coast of Key Largo. They still live in New York; not too very far from where we went to high school. Larry has been retired for several years. Sharon will be eligible for retirement soon; but she seems to love her job... so only time will time whether or not she will join the rest of us non-producers any time soon. We had a wonderful meal. Larry insisted on picking up the check. The meal was so good that we did not save room for dessert. After dinner Larry and I took a quick trip out to Shibumi which was anchored in the bay. The ladies stayed back at the restaurant to save our table. We got back to shore just in time to celebrate the sunset. There is something magical about spending time with long-time friends. We had a wonderful visit and were even treated to a superb magic show at the restaurant after sundown. The following morning we had delicious breakfast at the Key Largo Coffee House, before Larry and Sharon drove back north to their vacation home in Orlando. |
