Shibumi 2002

Jill and I purchased a CSY44 sailboat in Ft. Pierce, FL.

We named her Shibumi.


Shibumi is a Japanese term that means 'Eloquent Silence'. These pictures were taken as we cruised Shibumi northbound on the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW).We were taking her home to Palm Coast, for the first time. It was a three-day sail from Ft. Pierce to home.

Beautiful boat!! I love sailing, and have been on a couple of sailing cruises, but only dream of owning something as nice as this. Congratulations and may you have many wonderful days on her.

Shibumi looks beautiful and her name is great specially because of the meaning. But the word itself sounds very good.
It must be great to travel with her. Have a lot of great journey!
