The handle came off of this tool chest as it was being carried ashore. It fell into the canal. I was prepared to pickup tools, one at a time, off of the canal bottom. Luckily the chest hit the water intact and did not open.

After a good freshwater rinse and a spray with WD-40, the tools were as good as new... However, I doubt the hand-held voltage meter will ever work again.

How do you dive with a lifejacket on ??.

I had a boat motor come off while moving around from one fishing spot to another. Had to rent gear to dive for it in about 30' of water. Got luck. After a good cleaning it fired back up.

Lucky you. That would suck if you had to pick them up one at a time.
