We received an overnight shipment this afternoon, from Alaska. Our neighbors, Cliff and Cheryl, sent two cases of King Salmon and other fish from their fishing lodge on the Anvik River.
Amazingly they were still frozen after spending a night and part of a day with Federal Express.

We loaded them in Cliff and Cheryl's freezer, in anticipation of having a fine cook-out when they get home.

mmmm, i can smell some honey almond salmon grilling! my mouth is watering! maybe cindi will give me a ride? :O) coming back from alaska i used to wrap them in newspaper and plastic bags. they would still be frozen solid even after a fifteen hour plane ride...
