We first met in a New York City elementary school about fifty years ago. FIFTY YEARS AGO.
We all went through junior and senior high school together before taking different roads in life.
This reunion has been a miracle of traveling back in time; back to where our parents came from.
All of our parents came from the south. They each moved to New York in search of a better life.
Now we are here, visiting South Carolina, to get a glimpse of our heritage.
While here we are rediscovering a mighty kinship between us,
that is still strong, although we have not seen each other for many decades.
This picture was after we spent the day touring Charleston.
You see us preparing to order a meal of Gullah Cuisine in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
It is marvelously refreshing to be around such long time good friends.

SPECIAL NOTE: MOM and DAD, I think you can recognize everyone here. They all send a hearty hello.
