It is here!
Jill's new Prius Hybrid arrived via ship in Jacksonville, FL on July 20th.
It was delivered to our dealer in St. Augustine yesterday afternoon.
We picked it up last evening.
It is a peppy little car with great fuel efficiency.
On the trip from the dealer, to the house, the on-board computer
indicated that the Prius got 48 MPG.
That is more than double the fuel efficency of Jill's former car.

You get about 2 mpg better efficiency than my diesel New Beetle.

I laughed at the shot where Jill is shaking hands with the salesman. :^))

That has to ease the pain of the loss of your other baby, Jill. It looks good on you...but what a shame they put the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car...LOL! At the cost of fuel...I think there will be a lot more economy cars getting around.

LOL @ Ed ... no Crocs yesterday.
In Florida, sandals with leather straps are considered formal wear.
So we wanted to 'dress-up' some to pick-up the car.

Nice lil car. I see lots of them here on the left Coast. With the price of gas more of them will be out and about.
