Meet my little FUJIFILM F10.

It has captured every picture I have taken since May 20th, 2005. Ever since it arrived we have been no more than a few footsteps apart.

I have been known to complain about its itsy bitsy lens, and inability to take great telephoto shots. But it has conquered skyscrappers and rundown tenaments, grapes on the vine and rainbows in the sky.

Its lack of viewfinder has irked me a time or two. Still, I have used it everyday to remember sunrises and plants growing, rocketship launches and people laughing. It has given us videos, slideshows, and images of the moon. It has worked from the air and been on ocean voyages.

It is always with me. Its small size allows that.

Here lately, I had been looking at other cameras. Maybe something that will allow more control over aperture settings and shutter speed. I quickly decided,NO. I'm going to keep this little F10 for a while.

It hasn't taken its best picture yet.

I edited this Fuji F10 video slideshow today.

This picture makes me smile :)) i have the same camera and although lots of other cameras have come and gone and the little Fuji pretty much sits in the cupboard gathering dust I refuse to part with it .... It has taken some great pictures , its built like a tank and there is just something about it that means it will always be around ....

Wonderful! My primary camera is the Canon S2IS, for aviation and ocations, my little Powershot A530 is with me everyday, with its 4Xzoom, 5 MP and shooting on auto setting only , and it fits in my pocket and I can shoot while driving, it has a viewfinder but I do not use it while driving. I enjoy your photos, thanks

Yeaaaahhh! It's looking a lot tidier than mine, which is getting pretty battered after being shoved into my pocket and work bag every day, but is still working perfectly. It's deserving of your loyalty!

Your decision to keep this "little" camera says a lot about you. You are a loyal person who does not abandon his friend, his dog, his wife, or his camera simply because a better model comes along. I applaud you, my friend. Your camera has produced some of the best images posted on pbase at one time or another......please continue posting with this wonderful camera that has taught you to have such a great eye.

Yes, you have made music with that "little" camera. You are smart to stay with it. I have a Panasonic that is about the same, and still use it frequently.

They are all good if you use them properly.
You sure do.

Looks like a keeper from all your great pics. Can't beat its MP/camera size. Nice shot
of your proud camera.

Boy, it is tiny. But 6.3 mps. Your photos are outstanding which is due to the photographer as much as the camera. But it does a fine job.

Excellent shot Dave. You've gotten some spectacular images with that camera. I'd keep it, too.

You have every right to be happy with what this camera can do...the last thing you would want is to be changing lens out there in the saltspray. For that bigger zoom, take a look at the Panasonic-Lumix FZ30...a real beauty ! I have the FZ20 & I love it still.

Delightful commentary and praise for the lil’ camera, … and super delightful video and music. That’s probably one of the reason’s you’re listed as one of my favorite artists. Great job on both!

looks like a fine camera. I need one like that for my vacations when I don't want to carry my SLR.

I am going to retrieve the one I gave my grandson like that. Maybe I can get the nice shots like you do.
