We are anchored in Lake Worth in N. Palm Beach.
We will stay here a few days, waiting for the wind to die down before we make the 50 mile trip south to Ft. Lauderdale.
There are, at least, eleven bridges that must open for us to pass through.
Shibumi can get very moody when waiting for bridge openings in high wind conditions.
If we can get the right sea conditions in the Atlantic Ocean,
we would leave the Intra-Coastal Waterway (the river) about a mile south of here and sail in the ocean to Ft. Lauderdale.
In the ocean we would not have to play with the bridges, plus we would get to shut the motor off and sail.
However the weather for the next few days looks poor for that trip. So we wait.
This anchorage is close to shopping, entertainment and restuarants, so we don't mind waiting here.
