One of my boat chores while in Vero Beach was to get the empty propane tank refilled. It turned out that this tank was so old that it needed to be recertified before it could be refilled. Heck, even Stevie Wonder could see that this aluminum tank was in outstanding condition; but I paid the $6.00 anyway to stay within federal government requirements.

Vero Beach has free bus service, which is one of the reasons this is a great place to stop for cruising boaters. However, there are restrictions as to what passengers can carry on the bus. Gas tanks are definately NOT permited. Renting a car was only a couple of dollars more than taking a cab, so I rented a car.

Shibumi's location on the mooring ball in Vero Beach gave us a terrific view of the sunset each evening. It is truly one of the beautiful stops along the waterway.

The little chores to maintain freedom at your own pace can't be too much to bear!

Recertified for aluminum. Bizarre. I guess it could develop stress fractures from over pressure or abuse. Vero is a fun place to visit.
