Message from Roy Blair
During July, 2004, Ruth and Roy visited Vienna, Venice, Florence and Rome. Lufthansa Airlines took us up the Eastern US Coastline over St. John, Canada, where we turned east crossing the Atlantic at 36,000 Feet. As we approached Europe, we crossed the United Kingdom into Germany, where we landed at Munich and took our next flight for Vienna.
From Vienna, we flew to Marco Polo Airport,Venice; then we made our way by train to Florence and by train again to Rome. Leaving Rome,we took Lufthansa back to the US and home again.
These are a few of the photos showing some highlights of our trip. One of the best highlights was being able to sightsee and spend some time with Ruth's sister, Sandy, and our nieces, Nicole and Natalie.
Throughout our entire trip, we were treated in a friendly and helpful manner. We were especially delighted when one of our taxi drivers in Rome told us "We love America!" This was truly "a trip to remember."
