But the view was spectacular |

The next day at Laughing Crow Gardens |
An immaculate, amazing private garden on a regular suburban lot |
Created by a woman who was a hands-on curator and research specialist for |
the 33-acre Georgia public gardens at the Atlanta History Center. |
And it shows; everything is carefully placed |
 Amazingly staged |
And all of the plants are extremely well grown |
A stunning combination of trees, shrubs, and perennials |
 With delightful combinations |
 of color and texture |
 And eye-popping sizzling colors |
Even the jiffy john was carefully staged |
The outside of the house was decorated and immaculate |
Buses parked on the narrow road |
 The front yard |
The hills did not disuade the owners |
In fact they used all of the hills to great advantage |

 And featuring tiny houses |
 The fence was lovely |
With dry streams (I was being funny with my left hand shadow) |
On to the garden houses |
 Tiny plants |
 Budda with a vine |
This was a wonderful artist studio! |
 Windows into the studio |
 Under the pergola |
The back gardens were two separate rooms |
One with great grass and little parterres |
 With poppies |
 and interesting vines |
The other room was an open lawn with four matching urns and plants |
 Lovely and peaceful |
Back up by the house, an eclectic mix of plants and art |
 the working area |
In front by the pond, stones set on edge |
next door, a fascinating garden gate |
