It's almost dark but i liked the cloud formation.
The path on the left cutting thro the field is part of the 34 mile Sandstone Trail which goes from Frodsham to Whitchurch, from here it goes behind the castle to the right and along a high sandstone ridge with views across the Cheshire Plain and on to North Wales.
If you look closely you can see two noisy male pheasants on the path having a bit of an argument.
Probably over a woman.!
