Shropshire Union Canal & last bit of sun.

This is another of last year's cygnets, so is around 1 year old now. His parents are still sitting on this years eggs about a third of a mile behind me. He's paddling toward me btw because he knows i'm about to feed him.
The lock in front is called "The Iron Lock" built in 1828 by the great man himself, Thomas Telford.
It was made of sheets of iron to overcome the subsidence which caused the original locks to fail.
Chester is about 10 miles ahead.
