Telford's Aqueduct

Near Llangollen North Wales

Built by Thomas Telford from 1795-1805.
There are 18 piers, the central one being 126 feet above the River Dee below.
The iron channel is 1007 feet long, 11ft-10 ins wide, and 5ft-3ins deep.
