The first photo is the Kigara River outside of Kigali. This river was choked with thousands of bodies of genocide victims 15 years ago. The next shot is the view of Kigali from the genocide memorial. It was a strange feeling being in this country where 800,000 people were killed over a 100 day period in 1994. We almost certainly met people who lost family members, people who participated in the killing, and children of rape. What was America doing while this slaughter took place?
