Cottonwood Cove is one of the trailheads to Coyote Buttes South on Paria Plateau in Northern Arizona.
The spectrum of sandstone colors in this area is incredible. What you see in the following shots
is pretty much representative of reality - not the result of pushed saturation in processing!
Getting to Cottonwood Cove is somewhat easier than the trail to White Pocket - but still takes some serious driving in deep sand.
