DENA

Dena (in Persian: 슂) is a mountain range within the Zagros Mountains of West/Southwestern Iran. Dena is a part of the Zagros mountain range, situated on the boundary of the Isfahan, Kohkilooyeh Va Boyer Ahmad, and Chahar Mahal Va Bakhtiyari provinces.

Dena Mountain owns more than 40 above 4000 m peaks which the highest is Bijan3 (Qach Mastan) 4412 m. The other famous peaks are: Kal Qodveis, Bijan2 (Borj-e-Asemani), Bijan1 (Mash), Pazan Pir, Ghalam, Si Chani, Moorgol, Barf Kermo, Namak, Howz Dal, Khersan, …

The mountaineers who have visited Alps are claiming that Dena mountain range and Alps are very similar. Also the rivers as Bashar, Marbor and Khersan and waterfalls like Semirom, Ab-malakh and Khafr and many nice villages are the unforgettable places and have really beautiful nature.

In spring and summer the Qashqaei nomads move to the north of Dena.
