Venice - Sept. 25-27, 2015

September 25-27, 2015. Flew Lufthansa to Frankfurt, then Venice. Stayed at Hotel Rio 2 nights and then boarded Viking Star on the 27th, room 3024. Departed that night on 10-day cruise to Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Turkey (SEE SEPARATE GALLERIES). Stayed 2 extra nights in Istanbul at Alilass Hotel and Tempo Suites. Flew back on Lufthansa October 8 after passing through 9 passport checks in Istanbul and Frankfurt airports! Went through a couple more in Dulles, but new kiosks have streamlined things quite a bit. Thank you, Dulles!
