We tendered into 5 of the 10 ports we visited on this cruise. |
People were preparing fish on the dock in Punta del Esta. |
Leaving Buenos Aires. I barely learned to pronounce "Buenos Aires" (think "eye") & now we're leaving!Next stop: Uruguay |
Church and restaurant, beautiful Paraty. |
Town cemetery, on the way to the fort in Paraty. |
View from ship of Rio's Ilha das Cobras (military?) and the bridge to Niteroi. |
Mountains and modest Rio houses, as seen from the ship while in port. |
We passed Rio's Ilha Fiscal, a "Neo-Gothic folly" & "19th century royal pleasure palace" for parties. |
Fabio drove us by the striking War Memorial in Gloria, honoring Brazilians who fought in Italy in WWII. |
