Reykjavik & Reykjanes Peninsula

Time to go home after a wonderful cruise. But first, we enjoyed a couple hours of sightseeing with Flyshuttle guide and driver Thor. He and I exchanged some ideas the day before about what we could see before going to the airport, and Thor exceeded my expectations for a little last-minute sightseeing! Then we flew home.

At 4 AM today, a volcano erupted near Grindavik. I had no idea until Thor told us we'd go take a look.
