Stopped in Napier, NZ Jan. 17, 8 to 8. Had a wonderful day of sightseeing in this charming rebuilt city, and photographed gannets close up at Cape Kidnappers with Gannet Safaris Overland. After dinner we took a picture of our awesome cabin attendant. At this point we had spent almost a month on the ship, seeing him morning and evening, always being greeted by name with a smile, and always being delighted by his charming personality and excellent, fast service. Crew members on cruises are usually wonderful, but Rosario was nothing short of exceptional.

Back in Napier, tour driver took us to see the National Tobacco Company building in Ahuriri.
