Mesa Verde National Park & Albuquerque Oct. 2014
Had 2 days after the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta to do more sightseeing. Off we went to the Four Corners! Also in this gallery are photos I took in Albuquerque.

We stopped at the beautiful new Visitors Center at the park entrance.
Statue outside Visitors Center. How in the world did those people make & get to their homes in AD 600?
3 deer crossed in front of us and stopped close by to check us out.
Our home for the night was the park's Far View Lodge - rustic but a great location given the distance into the park.
Far Vew Ruins are close to the lodge. They are small and lightly visited, but I loved Coyote Village - loved the sunset
The next day we went to see ruins. Cedar Tree Tower was close and cute.
Spruce Tree House from rocks near the start of the trail
I walked down to Spruce Tree House. This is far left part.
Spruce Tree House far left
Spruce Tree middle with ladder. It started to sleet while I was there.
Spruce Tree House again
Square Tower House, my favorite when I visited many years ago. The metal bars are new, though.
