We did Viking included tour "Gentle Journey" to Ephesus. It started at lower entrance & went to Library, then some free time. |
It was crowded but we had a guide plus a helper who kept us all in sight. |
Even so, men sometimes popped out from behind trees |
Down the Marble Road we went |
Ephesus ruins were quite impressive |

First glimpse of Library of Celsus - wow! |

 Mighty Library of Celsus |
Passed by a large arch |
Library of Celsus could hold 12K scrolls |
Place was packed and we had a few slow walkers, but they just caught up a little later & did fine. |

One ship leaves & another comes in, usually just for 2/3rds day at most. Takes a long time to get to/from Istanbul. |
Norwegian Spirit was about same size as us but it carries more pax |
Spirit and its climbing wall departed right before us. |
Rear end reminded me of a paddle wheeler. Howard called it ugly & old-fashioned. |
Sunset while heading to Istanbul - a new adventure awaits. |
Had from 2 PM until around noon the next day at sea, so Ruth checked out the snow grotto. |
Someone had built a tiny snowman in there! |
Next morning, I used free thassowhatever spa pool (nice & private), sauna, icebucket & snow grotto - but in a bathing suit! |
