Shandon Flags Project was responsible for all the flags around the neighborhood
There seems to be a lot of color in the Republic of Ireland!
Dublin had its Leprechaun Museum; Cork has a Butter Museum!
Like other Irish cities, Cork has a distillery. It makes its own whiskey plus Heineken
Bridges & canals are everywhere
Sign in Shandon window reads, "Celtic kid with attitude."
Bridge near the University
At Bishop Lucey Park you can see parts of the original city walls.
The mock "clootie rags" in the park caught my eye. (Rags used to be tied to trees to bring good health.)
This statue caught my eye & I stopped in to St. Mary's Church. Churches in Europe are a dime a dozen, but this one was gorgeous.
Beautiful church - and while I was there, used by several people.
I love color, so I loved the beautiful, modern organ.
