China with Viking River Cruises - 2011

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in great style by going on a two-week land and sea tour of China. Pictures are by Ruth AND Howard; we have many more that didn't make "the cut"! While I tend to focus on buildings and not people, I've tried to include a few more people pictures this time, including a few rare "Ruth" pictures!

Temple and pagoda. The pagoda was built without nails attaching it to the rocks. It leans against the rocks.

The way up the temple was narrow with wooden steps. Here's one of the dioramas up top.
